John Scofield & Pat Metheny - I Can See Your House From Here

No siempre la sociedad de dos músicos estelares tiene un resultado proporcional a la suma de los antecedentes de ambos. No es el caso de I Can See Your House From Here, álbum que reune a los consagrados guitarristas John Scofield y Pat Metheny, a los que se añade la sobresaliente sección rítmica perteneciente al trio del primero de ellos: Steve Swallow en bajo y Bill Stewart en batería. Scofield y Metheny funcionan muy bien juntos, a pesar de ser tan diferentes, combinando el sonido un tanto más cerebral, disonante de Scofield, con el propiamente melódico, cálido de Metheny.
