Bill Frisell - Gone, Just Like a Train



Escuchando Lowered Boom de The Nels Cline Singers recordé otro "blues postmoderno": Los Angeles Blues, que abre Gone, Just Like a Train, de Bill Frisell. En este disco, que el guitarrista grabara con un trio que incluye a Viktor Krauss en contrabajo y Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Eric Clapton) en batería, presenta su singular síntesis de jazz, blues, rock y folk, interpretada con notables austeridad, simpleza y buen gusto. ***1/2
