Marc Ribot y Los cubanos postizos es una desenfadada propuesta del audaz guitarrista Marc Ribot (John Zorn), impregnando los coloridos y contagiosos ritmos afrocubanos de una impronta vanguardista, vía una singular, heterodoxa ejecución en la guitarra: angular, cortante, visceral; tornando este notable homenaje al compositor cubano Arsenio Rodríguez en una música latina peculiar, rara, pero muy atrayente, dotándola de aristas imprevistas sin perder calor; y cuya mayor virtud consiste, jugando con el nombre de la agrupación, en ser bien auténtica.****
