Joni Mitchell - Hejira

Cada oyente tiene su período preferido de un artista trascendente, en particular, de aquellos de dilatada carrera y aficionados a los cambios

Me gustan los discos donde a su estirpe folk, Joni Mitchell, agrega trazos gruesos de otros géneros, en especial, jazz, para edificar un escenario distinto para el canto convincente de sus canciones con significado.

A la vez, Hejira es un álbum que todavía contiene fragmentos de su exitoso pasado, que en sus entregas precedentes empieza a mezclar con elementos de pop y jazz, hecho insinuado en For the Roses (1972), y más decididamente en Court and Spark (1974).

La voz de Joni Mitchell está impecable, las canciones son magníficas, el acompañamiento (estrictamente eso) es sobrio y fino.

En resumen: escuchar Hejira es un verdadero placer.****1/2
